I love west Texas - something about the sweeping landscapes and the feeling of freedom that just sits perfectly with me. Bethany and Tyler decided to do their engagements throughout the hill country areas of Kerrville and Bandera (cowboy country), so we made a full day of it!
We tresspassed a little bit (maybe), walked through creek beds, found tons of bones, and drove until we saw no one for miles...Definitely a fantastic shoot with some fantastic people. Can't wait to be a part of their wedding!
Trey proposed to Sarah in a small cave at Enchanted Rock, and had the brilliant idea to use to same location and the surrounding area for their engagement session. Pretty awesome of them, huh? The answer is definitely. Definitely awesome. This whole shoot was an adventure, and easily one of the most interesting engagement sessions I've ever done. I got a flat tire in the boonies on the way there, some of us fell and got scraped up hiking, we found a rattlesnake, did some rock climbing to get the best shots, and had some monumental allergy attacks. 8 hours of shooting, hiking, sweating, and just being complete idiots definitely paid off though - it was all beyond worth it. Sarah and Trey were seriously incredible. I'm so glad to have shot with them, and to now have them as friends.
